CCC MOBILE APP LAUNCHED IN CZECH REPUBLIC AND SLOVAKIA

CCC, a leader of the footwear sector in Central and Eastern Europe, has launched its mobile application in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, marking another step in the dynamic development of e-commerce in those two countries, following the launch of the ccc.eu website in late 2019 and early 2020.

The Czech Republic and Slovakia are the first foreign markets where the CCC application will be available. Currently, it can be downloaded from Google Play, and in App Store it will be featured in the next few weeks. By the end of the first half of 2020, it is planned to be made available to users in Romania, Hungary and Austria, where CCC has already established its foothold through the ccc.eu website and brick-and-mortar stores. The application supports the company’s multi-channel sale model by combining online and offline channels.

The e-commerce channel (ccc.eu) is very popular in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The app will offer additional support to it, which is particularly important today given the growing share of mobile shopping. In 2019, mobile commerce accounted for about 60% of CCC's online sales, and in Q1 2020 – for as much as 64%. The app will also support sales in brick-and-mortar stores, some of which have already resumed operation in those markets, enabling a gradual return to our multi-channel sales model, a pillar of CCC’s GO.22 strategy. Customers aged 18–34, a group we consider very important, account for more than a half of all purchases made via the CCC application. In this way, we are expanding the group of users and fashion influencers centred around the CCC brand,” said Michał Pachnik, managing the mobile app project.

Work on expanding the reach of the mobile application is one of our priorities. The application has been very well-received in Poland, and it has already been downloaded more than 1.6 million times. We believe that it will be equally popular on the new foreign markets. We are also working to further improve and add new solutions to the app. As we are constantly expanding the team, we would like to invite the best and most creative specialists to join us,” added Barbara Rogala, in charge of the work the CCC app.

The CCC app facilitates online shopping through the use of modern functionalities such as Visual Search (searching for products using a photo; now available in iOS and soon also on Android) or ‘Discover’ (like/dislike) – searching by evaluating products available in the store. Customers can also check the availability of products in brick-and-mortar stores or find the nearest one. Users have access to the current promotional offer online and in brick-and-mortar stores, while members of the CCC Club can use the mobile version of their loyalty card. Those who want to join the Club can register through the application.
